Praveena is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof.Minnie Sarwal's lab in the Department of Surgery. Her doctoral thesis was on engineering nanomedicines with a combinatorial approach to combat Glioblastoma Multiforme. In this study, she used two small molecules, a polo like kinase inhibitor and a tyrosine kinase inhibitor and demonstrated synergistic cytotoxic killing in glioma cells.

Praveena is interested in exploring different pathological pathways associated with the kidney function. She would like to identify biomarkers using various computational tools and Omics approaches for earlier detection of the disease.
